pickin' up steam
oooo it's definitely the sickness that's put me into the most unproductive mood the last week! + after today, i can feel myself pickin' up the steam to go full throttle for work 2mr! just what i need - a kick of adrenaline rush into my system to fully accommodate the new yr (albeit the delay).
last night: went for dad's alumni dinner that turned out to be quite fun, seeing my ex-CEO (dad's former classmate) performing (who later recognised me), came up to say hi + cringed when he heard i've moved on to the competitor. what mattered the most was his comment when he told dad 'she's really good'... hmm...
o then came the time when i was supposed to go out + meet some friends, but oh my was mum throwing a massive hissy fit about the time of night i was going out, so i decided to stay safe n catch up on the zzzz's
today: woke up to give my lil MG a quick scrub (o baby i do miss ya, but heck u've got a new scratch on ur butt + i've hardly driven ya!), + oooohhh babyyy...... ASTROOOOOOOOTUURRRFFF! not that i love ya, but yeah played tennis w the twin + her colleagues, a beautiful Sunday morning routine breaker i must say. it was funny to see both of us having badminton wrists while playing tennis. okay woman we need to do this a lil more often.
+ wassap with astroturf? i just like how fake simulations of real things are made. i like to wonder how things are made (how + why), designed in a certain way etc. just part + parcel of my nature + former training.
am also enthralled with human interaction, be it on a societal, friendship level or even on a relationship standpoint. then again, isn't human interaction some form of relationship anyway? it is a back + forth, 2 way reaction to a certain situation.. ai ai ai? so that leads me to my other appoinment this arvo. to meet up with a mutual friend about my viewpoints on the human male + female social interactions... ahhaa. quite a brain teaser session i had, not to mention a good low down on human behaviour + the current social scene. ok i'm not gonna delve much into this yet. i've had quite lengthy conversations with plenty of suave monsieurs whom i shall not name so i shall pick up this topic of conversation at a later time when i've researched more into this.
