don't speed
at a tight curve.
i did.

tried to slow down
didn't downshift,
oversteered.

rear gave way
counter steered...
spun out.

concrete barrier plus
orange metal =
crunch.

airbags popped out
kissed me....
poof!

a white light
so bright,
came.

smoke everywhere,
got out of the car.
sigh.

utter destruction.
frontal damage-
gone.

thank God,
engine's
behind.

heart aches,
but me,
ok.
